Wow. I am sure that that does not happen often. I would love to hear a video comparing those guitars.

Martin. No question. sound and quality. martin uses dove tail binding for the neck. and the neck is all one piece. taylor uses lag bolts to connect the neck, and the headstock is a separate piece. so, C.F. Martin all the way

i used to be a huge fan of taylors, almost bought one but got a les paul instead that day..now im saving to get a martin. so yea im going with the martin

The Martin DC15e sounds better in my opinion. The mini martin sounds nice for a travel guitar but it cannot be compared to the other two.

@ghostface185 Takamine Makes an excellent sounding quality guitar. Find a Japenese made modal these rival many Taylors and Martins for about half the price. I have owned my Takamine EF340SCGN for two years now. Amazing Guitar!

@TheBrokenTelescope I'm with Abefroman. You should definitely post a video of a cheap Yamaha that sounds even close to a $1,000 Martin.

I owned a Martin d16 RGT and it was INCREDIBLE. But......in this video i like the tone of the Taylor much more. The martin has a deeper bass sound but the Taylor here seems to have some great snappy tones. The great thing about this is there is no best tone, there is only which is the best for YOU! Do you want the snappier or deeper bass? Use what fits you the best. I cant wait to buy a Taylor but i can tell you this, the smell of a new martin is intoxicating.

The Martin DC15e has easily the most beautiful, warm, rich tone. Also I can smell the rosewood through the video ;O)
Nice playing of one of my favourite Tommy song.
