  • Tugs at the heart strings. The fact that Jake can still understand what is being said, but, at the same time be so bewilderingly restricted when trying to reply is so frickin sad!

    Jake's preferred mode of communication is to use his natural speech. Jake is able to have a more personal interaction with Eddie, especially since they have been friends for many years!! Eddie is attuned to Jake's speech and understands what he is saying.

  • People ask me why I love Eddie Vedder so much and this is why. He is the most down to earth person and he cares. Hes not giving out b.s. Hes being a true honest guy. Besides his music, he has a huge heart. I will always love this guy.

  • @mjccmc82: You're telling me, I'm a huge PJ fanboy haha. Albums, bootlegs, Eddie solo stuff, etc. They're awesome, and Eddie is such a great buy.

  • @Tigerpuffer sounds right, my sister bought me the PJ 20 book and its really interesting, I want to see the doc. too. I love PJ since the 90s they were my favorite band when I Was in HS and one of my favorites 12 yrs later, I like damien rice, lisa hannigan, jewel, etc. yeah SD is great, vedder loves to surf. I love OC - - dana point, laguna beach and the surf capital huntington beach- - great weather, big waves, beautful women, SoCal beach towns are the best happy new year my friend

  • @Tigerpufferthat's right doesnt seem to have a chicago accent lol. i knew he lived and loved San diego - - bc he loved to surf and the nice weather. my friend used to surf w vedder in SD all the time before he got famous. he said eddie was kind of an introvert, very polite, nice guy, fun to be around. I lived in SoCal, never been to Seattle, hear its a great city, PJ is one of my fav bands of all time, they rock!

  • @mjccmc82: Eddie was, I believe, born in Chicago, moved to San Diego, and then moved to Seattle in 1990 after auditioning for Mookie Blaylock, but I'm not 100%.
