First in a a series of videos where I talk about some of the shows I watched growing up. This time round I'm talking about Jim Henson's "The Storyteller", a wonderful show about myths and legends.

Check it out on IMDB:

  • John Hurt as the Storyteller was brilliant!

My favourite show as a kid.

No one else at school ever saw it - so I was gutted I couldn't talk about it, in the playground, at break time.

    :)

  • used to love watching the storyteller when i was younger.

  • I actually have two storyteller videos at home, and the greek myths series on dvd! I think i was 4 years old when i 1st saw them and theyre still amazing! I do think that it is so sad that they never got the recognition that they deserved at the time coz they are wonderful stories, and the cast were wonderful too! :) There were 12 stories made - 4 in the greek myths with Michael Gambon and 8 in the 1st series with John Hurt. Fab series that deserves to be seen! xx

  • i was only messin with you!! i was lookin for a show about a story teller thought you were gonna talk about that one!! i dont remember the one you were talking about!
