Hello everyone my name isIrvin E Balfour Sr, father of De'Andre Balfour. De'Andre Balfour was born on November 12, 1996. At birth he was diagnosed with pulmonary tricuspid atresia.Tricuspid atresia is a form of congenital heart disease whereby there is a complete absence of the tricuspid valve. Therefore, there is an absence of right atrioventricular connection. This leads to a hypoplastic or an absence of the right ventricle.He has had 5 open heart surgeries and also a pacemaker. He is in need of a Heart transplant to survive. Although Dre has undergone all of this he has maintain his grades making the honor roll and always been positive about his life despite the odds put before him.
