so as you can see in some way their beleifs do represent old confederate vaules. The klan was originally created by x-confedrate soliders after the civil war as well. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not say their is anything wrong with being against centralized government, as these guys are just all out nuts no matter what they support or what flag they waved.

godchaser,This is an article directly from the US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE!
Right-wing terrorist groups generally refer to those that adhere to a backward-looking ideology, one that advocates a return to a political or social system that is perceived to have existed previously in the U.S. Typically associated with extreme conservatism, examples include the KKK, white supremacy groups like the Aryan Nations or groups like the Sheriffs Posse Comitatus that oppose CENTRALIZED FEDERAL POWER.

godchaser you r actually very wrong, the klan is very ant-federal government and very much against any centralized government. And most neo-nazi groups today in the US r as well. This is why many of these groups r supporters of the libertarian (not that I'm downing the libertain party) party because they represet the conferdacey closest being that they support very little Fed. Goverment. These groups are often ant-gun control, against gay right, anti-abortion, ect and are not for big govermnet
