Vikki Carr was a Judy Garland clone. I think she was better than Judy. Vikki had her head on straight.

She sings like an angel! What a beautiful voice, would love to see her sing with Michael Bolton, or Josh Groban. She sounds a lot like Connie Francis also.

Yep, undeniably a great song and a good rendition. But Dinah Washington's version, on her album "The Two Of Us" with Brook Benton, was the first time I ever heard the song and remains my favourite recording. Having said that, I have recently discovered a Nat "King" Cole recording which is sublimely smooth, as always.

es un placer inmenso escuchar la voz magnifica de vikki donde estara ahora no tengo noticias de ella y lo mas importante que a travez de su voz sigue con nosotros

My ex-Boss, Mike Seacrest, had this out on MGM records..and did a wonderful job on it.

Nice version by Vikki, but I still prefer the Joni James recording (Billboard # 19 in 1958). Joni was ahead of the trend that would follow in pop music, that is taking older standards and giving them an up-tempo arrangement. Pattern was followed by Connie Francis and Dean Martin among many others.

I want to know who would leave Vikki? He's obviously not man enough to handle such a grand charming beauty as Vikki Carr.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this is a remake of the million-selling Joni James version on M-G-M Records in 1958. It was Joni's idea to set the old standard to a triplet rock beat. Vikki's version is based on the James arrangement.

OH my..... she's fantabulous! I only knew her for "It Must Be Him".... WHAT a beautiful voice she had... whatever happened to her! I'm in awe... Geez, back in the seventies I was in my early 30's... hmmmm???

Bellìsima interpretaciòn.

@thetimelesswonders You must not have noticed the two place when Mr. Roselli was off key. To my ear, one is comparing Johnny's velvet to Jimmy's burlap. Enough said--we hear differently. Nothing new under the sun.

@lustre5 You are actually thinking that Johnny Mathis does this song better than Jimmy Roselli ?J.I don't know who is kidding who. Do not get me wrong I love Johnny M and think he has a great voice,BUT,to compare him with Jimmy R,no. Like comparing a Bentley with a Kia.

No one can touch Johnny Mathis with this song.
