I take on and rate the boss levels from DDR X. The more serious ones, anyways.
Horatio (Expert) = 15 (I can see Horatio being a rough MAX 300 equivalent. I didn't do the Oni/Challenge chart, because I still have the old "broken" one, and my mines-gap is too wide to allow proper arrow hitting... that or I just suck at it.)
SABER WING (AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot Mix) (ONI) = 16 (The long runs and spurty BPM changes make this a little "trickier" than MAX 300, but I would still put it on the lower end of the 16 spectrum, as other 16-notable songs generally have more jumps or longer spurty parts in them. Still, it's very technical in timing!)
on the bounce (ONI) = 17 (For a solid BPM, this song is deceptively complex in it's timing and step arrangement! And unlike most 16-footers which go in spurts, or has a nice 5-second rest halfway through it, this song is packed solid from start to finish. It's also deceptively exhausting!)
Trigger (ONI) = 18 (It's not quite as hard as, say, Pluto Relinquish or Fascination -eternal love mix- Oni/Challenge, but it's very smart about things such as freeze arrow placement and deceptively hard jumping sequences. It's about as close to 19-worthy as one could get without quite crossing the threshold.)
PARANOiA MAX -DIRTY MIX- (SMM-Special) (ONI) = 19 (Come on! PARANOiA Survivor runs at nearly 400bpm?! I mean, it's doable, moreso than Pluto Relinquish's finale anyways; but it's still very hard to do consistently. I LOVE the way this is an arrangement of the many PARANOiA songs, btw! I REALLY hope this gets transitioned to arcades/domestic mixes!)
Do you convert them into old school ratings for Stepmania Tony?

I did, because my screenpack (Techno Fiend 3.1) didn't support the new system - anything 10 and up was considered a "boss level" (Extra Stage: U Can't Touch This?!).
One reason I haven't updated in awhile is because I'm revising my simfiles to work with another screenpack that uses the new system (Cyberia Style 5). And I'm having to update a lot of details with it, like some level-range courses of mine.
It's also a bit more hardware-demanding, unlike the TF series, which might affect quality.
