@jennyjade1 All that you say is true, but I know from personal knowledge that the US military CONTINUED Unit 731-inspired biological warfare R&D at locations within the US and overseas and there's a great deal of evidence to suggest that US BW was used both in Korea and Vietnam. As an American, I am disgusted and ashamed at the complete lack of justice meted out to Unit 731 leaders, most of whom went on to lead prosperous lives, completely unrepentant for their crimes....sad.

@cheeba64 As a matter of fact, the Americans were not involved until 1946, they covered up the atrocities that took place at Harbin (1 of 11) cities/villages after the bio/chemical "experiments" took place, subjection to frostbite, reaction to shrapnel. Not to mention live autopsies. Anyhow, what the US did was grant immunity to Ishii's war crimes in exchange for the Japs experiermental data. Quite deplorable, yes; yet they had no known involvement from 1932-45, when he was developing this.
