1.7 billion people worldwide live without electricity. 500 million of those live in sub-Saharan Africa. A new WB group initiative plans to change that. The aim is to benefit 250 million people in sub-Saharan Africa by 2015.

  • That's all they can show interest in bringing a touch light to put us further more in a bondage of poverty,African needs electricity not touch light, how many westerners use that touch light even though they're the manufacturer? if you want to help , help them with electricity because it help hospita to properly equip it and it will save a lot of life, Electricity will help children learn , do their home works, it will help local businessman who close early b'cos there's no light. I bet you that
