@MrRiceowlex Actually if there was thermite in the towers, it would have detonated on the planes impact, causing the tower to fall IMMEDIATELY, which we both know it didn't.

A few small fires make all the core columns and supporting structures collapse at the exact same time, resulting in a collapse entirely consistent with elegant, costly and skillful placement and detonation of precisely placed explosives.
So why are there controlled demolition teams?

Because the fires spread through the building and the heat broke the windows. That is how fire works, after all. -_-

@ladollyvita No, that means the fire spread from the south side through the building. Fires migrate, you know? They're not static phenomena.
The damage on the north side was nothing compared to the horrific state of the south facade. It was in a mess.
Firefighters abandoned it because they concluded that it was going down, after hearing it creak few hours before, and seeing a 3-storey bulge in one corner.
It was ABANDONED because of the fear of collapse. Are you capable of understanding that?
