if you take a look at the pin elevator there are little indentations that the pins snugly fit into and becuase the ball is much larger than a pin, it cant fit into these notches so it is forced to use the other elevator... i have only ever seen an A2 pinsetter once in real life but an AMF pinsetter uses the same type of pin elevator.
Hi, I see that there are 2 elevators (ball and pin). I guess by the weight of the ball and pins that the machine "knows" which elevator to use for each. But what exactly separates the ball from the pins so that the pins don't go into the ball elevator and the ball does not go into the pin elevator?
amf pinsetters are better and quicker
