From about 1982 to about 2002 (after John Robinson went to the NFL to coach the Rams and until Pete Carroll was starting out there), except for 1988-89 (when they had Junior Seau) the USC Trojans weren't worth a rip in football. They were decent, but they often seemed to try to get by on their reputation alone and for several years that simply wasn't good enough. That's changed now, of course. Pete Carroll's turned them into a bona fide kickass football program, again. Bastard. ;)
Salisbury would have been a damn good quarterback if he hadn't gotten that bad knee injury at Sun Devil Stadium in '82, he was never the same after that!

Great clip Robby! I loved this game. USC was ranked # 3 in the nation going into this game and the Baylor Bears whipped 'em!
