Compared to Ian Gillan there is no David Coverdale! I mean, live Gillan blows Coverdale off stage, and Gillan is a master in so many different styles of singing; Highway Star, Child In Time, Fools, Place In Line, Anyone's Daughter, No Laughing In Heaven, Black Sabbath (Live)... - My opinion!

@pragmaticalpaula123 maybe you leave in a different dimension but Whitesnake's Forevermore was nominated as rock album of the year 2011 and its in the top10 in every serious Rock Magazine! also in 2008 Good to Be Bad voted best rock album of the year and WS named best band of the year 2006 in Classic Rock. Plant records different type of music nowadays, singing with chicks and playing country music, while WS plays Hard Rock. David remained true and never quitted Rock music..
