It is important for genuine believers to understand the hidden agenda the devil has made behind May 21, 2011 "Judgment Day". Instead of joining the rest of the world in mocking the precious promises of God for the rapture of the church and the things of end times, what is more fruitful for genuine believers in Jesus is to pray, reflect and examine ourselves to see if we are really ready when the real rapture comes and when Jesus returns. The bible is clear that people will mock and people will not believe (even for many people who claim themselves to be Christians). But when it all happens and when we stand before Jesus, that is the day when all things will count. So may you not be lead astray and may you continue to abide in the love of God through genuine faith and obedience in holiness for the King of Kings.

  • What a great message. I feel such joy and peace and love from the Holy Spirit right now. What brother Emmanuel is saying is true. I will do all I can to be a dedicated dilligent warrior of Christ's Love. I know I am not saved by works, but I want to work to please my Master Jesus and to spread the Gospel of His Love.

  • @springchickn

I prefer to think that heaven can exist on this planet, rather than wait til I die. I am skeptical of the claims of the religious for there is absolutely no evidence to back up the claims. Furthermore, anecdotal evidence does not count as "proof". "God makes a difference in my life, therefor he exists". This is neither proof nor evidence. Whenever claims are tested, they fall very short of reality. And please stop double posting if you're going to reply. It's kinda spammy.

  • @Xiquid Also, I would be careful thinking you can use Jerry Falwell as any reason not to believe, since there are so many who do selfless and kind things with their lives daily that you do not hear about. Do you trust the media that much? I wont try to argue with you, i can tell you like your views, but i am grateful for the peace my Lord gives, and the way His wisdom lights my way & allows me 2 share my money and resources with others who need it because I know I have a heavenly kingdom ahead

  • @Xiquid , I'm sorry you have decided what to think before reading and researching. Many times I think people who grow up with parents who R overzealous about any religion can decide to turn against it just because personal freedom was restricted growing up. But anyway, the Bible is not immoral and to say so is very very misguided. Vicarious redemption? dont know what that is supposed to be, but I believe in and know Jesus personally and am glad for it. My life is proof He makes a difference.

  • @springchickn Well, considering the Bible is man made, and man is fallible, that would mean your logic can be applied to the Bible. My whole family is christian and I was a christian until I used logic. I'm sorry but I think god is a delusion, the bible is man made and comes from the bronze age, and I think it's astronomical that people believe in it. I think the Bible is morally reprehensible and the idea of vicarious redemption in the new testament is morally bankrupt.

  • @Xiquid: Only the bible accurately pinpoints what human nature is. Self-deceptive to a T, and desperately devisive. It's only Christ's sacrifice & forgiveness that can heal us and bring us to a relationship with God. We cannot help ourselves. And all human foolishness validates the perfection of Christ, even the foolishness of His followers at times. Do you know any faithful followers of Christ? I wish you did, so you could observe their lives. Jesus makes all the diff. Thanks 4 writing.

  • @Xiquid :well, what it should show more than anything about credibility, is that all humans, Christians being human you recall, are desiring a better situation, & some can convince themselves it's coming @ a certain date, out of desperation, no matter what others say. There were voices of reason speaking. I've had times in my life when a decision was warned against as maybe not the best, but went ahead anyway. Credibility lies in the validation of human nature being what it is, i think. thx..

  • @springchickn OK..... should've been more vocal so fellow believers could've forgone losing their livelihood by forgetting about tomorrow because the end of the world is here. Every generation of christians have people in their fold that say the end is in their lifetime... from the early christians to the late jerry fallwell. every single generation. it does not add to the credibility of your religion.

  • yes, you're right, it will happen one day... we need to pray for people to find the King of the Universe who loves them more than they know... nothing 899999 (sorry, kitty stepped on my laptop, thought i'd leave that there)... nothing else matters!

  • @Xiquid : not really, my friend. 99% of the rest of us were praying for those who were being misled, and were just living as we do each day, one step in front of the other, with The Lord in our hearts.
