: Luckily your not the final judge. Some people LOVE repetition. I used to be a HUGE GY!BE fan, and to be honest I find Earth far more fascinating at this stage in my life.

"If something is boring after two minutes, try it for four. If still boring, then eight. Then sixteen. Then thirty-two. Eventually one discovers that it is not boring at all." - John Cage

It's funny, because I hate repetitive music like the stuff played on the radio, but love stuff like Earth, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and so on and so forth.

I so agree with you, dude. Repeating something four times is what people consider the top, but for me it's just a minimum. Playing the same thing for 4-5 or shit even 10 minutes and just emphasizing the emotion by how you hit the strings is very primitive and powerful. Pedals help too, but that can be bit too much

This is the best music I have ever heard in 43 yrs of my life...dirty...nasty...slow groove...just absolutley mind blowing! It would sound like a Hendrix riff if it was speeded up...the pinnacle!
