In the Mechanical Fabrication, the different components of the car are manufactured. In addition, it also is the venue of the BMW Sauber F1 Teams tooling for composite components. The monocoque of the BMW Sauber F1.09 is made of some 1500 carbon-fibre components, some of them consisting of more than 60 layers of carbon.

  • AMAZING WASTE OF MONEY

  • wow, amazing factory

  • Yeah I really wish the whole team good luck in Melbourne, and that Robert and Nick will drive for victories and maybe the title this year.

I love the BMW motorsports programm, especially what they are doing in WTCC, not going to the Diesel, because it´s too expensive for privateers, and the Sauber cars were always among my favorites, too.

  • Cant wait till melbourne!!!
