@slapstik89 I gave it a chance and followed it through the entire production, just to find out i never made it in the Beta...then when it finally did come out there weren't any box copies of the game, which made me feel uneasy about even trying to purchase it (made to fail?). Anyways i tried the trial and was glad that i never did get into the game, the main problem is the rough and unpolished UI if you ask me, the gameplay is solid and is actually fun, but the UI just makes you leave.

@Devilmaycryxx3 The only problem i see with this game is that it just isnt user friendly, and so many things can be changed to make it more "polished". i understand some people may like the way its setup now, but to truly market a game and make it successfull it has to appeal to a wider audience rather than to hardcore players. Im not saying change the game, just make it more noob friendly and user friendly, nothing wrong with that.

@LOLROGUESFTW Try Guild wars if your sick of the cereal box shit but want something different. I loved it cause it didn't make me dedicate my whole life to it. I tried the Darkfall free trial, moment i made my guy and went into the noob areas the server went down, not much later i got on and saw that the noob mobs where glitched, not a good first impression. I played again later and couldn't stand the UI. The thing i did like was the gameplay, reminded me of morrowind...

I never ended up getting Darkfall. Followed it for 4 years in development, in the end decided there were other things around, and the graphics just didn't do it for me - they would have been great if there hadn't been so many delays.

@eugeniohz but if u look at it that way this game beats aion to hell in actual gameplay sence aion feels like ur walkin threw molasses while DFO is fun

u should look at mortal online (after the epic patch or itlol look back aka any oct 25 or so and up in 2010 :D

Lol you forget that 8 years of development means it was made 8 years ago..... So unless they went through the trouble to remake the engine....

@Darthcusto i understand your line, man. but reality and business bites, and who doesnt run, stay left behind. works for you, me, and them.

darkfall as a game is one of the most audacious project, if compared to theme-park mmos that rule today.

i really wanted it to be successful, but they (devs) chose the wrong roads and the consequences are observed on the game´s poor graphic content.

So, doesnt matter the engine, but the final product.

What can we do?
