Yeah, i know. Reddit was becoming a much stronger site around the same time but the ultimate tipping point that lead to the end of Digg was when v4 rolled out. It was an unmitigated disaster. As i'm sure you know. But yeah, i don't discount Reddit's part of Digg's downfall. It was a one-two punch that Digg just couldn't recover from.

Yeah but Reddit still helped. I got the impression from some friends that participated in the Digg v4 exodus that they basically packed their stuff up and headed to Reddit. Keving even talked in Diggnation about competition from Reddit.

Digg... Oh, Digg... Digg is officially dead to me today. The new layout is okay but the need for a Facebook account just to log-in is the final nail for me. I don't even see how to comment on there anymore, it looks that they are pulling comments from twitter and Fuckfacebook. Sorry for commenting here but i couldn't find a way to do it on Digg...

P.S. Kevin is still the man and i'll remain a lifelong fan even though he works for Google. ;P
