    This was filmed for Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, and Dueling Banjos was a big hit that year. "Deliverance" came out in the Summer of 72, so this would have been in the fall.

    1972,Long Beach Ca.Arena. I was there,and no one had ever heard of Steve Martin. I remember as we were a little pissed because we came to watch the bands,not a comedian. Fell in love with him that night,and out of love for Linda Ronstadt. She sang with the Eagles back then. What a night !

    Sorry you are all wrong. It was 1972, Long Beach,CA before anyone had ever heard Steve Martin. How do I know ? Because I am sitting a few rows back,with the blond guy with the stripped shirt. It was the funniest thing ever. We saw Linda Ronstadt & the Eagles the same night !
