  • can i use ready to roll white icing rathen than marzipan? is there a difference? thanks

  • @xmollycx You can use it. There is a difference though, The marzipan is made of ground almonds with sugar and glucose syrup. It is also tan in color before you add color. The white rolled icing you are talking about is probably fondant. If you use fondant and it wants to droop or is not stiff enough you can knead small bits of gum tragacanth into it at a time and that will make it stand up better. Gum paste is the other alternative. Thanks for watching!
