A tribute video to Edmonton's 'landmark' trolleybus service set to "Never Forget" from Take That. On May 2, 2009 @ 4:30pm, the trolleybuses headed to the garage for the very last time. BBC 152 was the last trolleybus in service.

  • I am going to miss those buses so much......

  • What a shame! So much for the environmental contribution. The oil and old technologies won again. What is wrong to upgrade the overhead, replace it with Swiss style flexible wires, switches and order new trolleybus models, so they can match our modern world we live in. Just look at the European trolleybuses. Why are we so behind? New technologies are here. What an irony, to see brand new trolleybuses in Vancouver struggling to make a turn or to pass a switch, when they could perform better.

  • Партнер SME - пидарас. Видео из-за него не позырить! Гандона сратого!

  • Great looking vehicles. So sad to see their passing in Edmonton, but at least we now have 189 in the UK at Sandtoft.

  • I thought this was going to be Edmonton, North London! (Although sad to see these Canadian trolleys go, of course).

  • Don't know if you're aware but one of the trolleys has made it into preservation in England. Vehicle 189 is at the Trolleybus Museum near Doncaster.

  • Magnifique et à la fois triste vidéos rapport à la fin d'exploitation des Trolleybus sur Edmonton's :(

  • whats so dangerous about the cattenary?! the point of making and electrical acumulation power source so high makes it safe. if that you think is dangerous what about the other wires suspended?

  • They were built in 1981-1982 so about 27-28 years old. Some of them are also going to museums.

  • How old are these buses? At least you should not worry about them being scrapped - the city of Plovdiv is having them over to serve for few more years.
