Probably cheaper as they are upgrading the wireless adapters. To make it comprehensive to the average guy, basically the new ones are using "N" wireless technology as opposed to the current which is "G" technology.
Basically, it works better because it has two sticks at the top. Oh, and it's black.
But you got a nice bargain anyway.
