The New Orleans Style of Jazz Part 2 Continues the exploration of jazz as played in New Orleans after the closure of Storyville in 1917 when most of the better known jazz musicians moved to Chicago, New York or California. Ken Colyer, a British bandleader maintained that "true jazz" could only be found among the musicians who stayed in New Orleans, such as Bunk Johnson and George Lewis. He went to New Orleans in 1952 to find and play the "true jazz".
