Not a homophobic cheap shot (but funny!). Ex-member Michael Pattinson originally joined the cult 'cause it falsely promised it could "cure" him of his gayness. Michael thinks other gays likely did likewise, joining thinking Scientology could "cure" their sexual orientation.
