(Part 2 of 4)

This was on RTÉ Television, it was recorded when Elbow played St. James' Church, Dingle, Co. Kerry in December 2005.

They were promoting their album "Leaders of the free world", though this track is actually from 2003 album "Cast of thousands".

I have the rest of the show as well, have a look in my videos.

I'm loving the new single "Grounds for divorce" and can't wait for the new album (Seldom seen kid)

  • Do we really want them to go big time though? I want this band to stay pure!

  • They are still criminally under-rated. One of the very best bands around today.

  • I never really understood the phrase 'tears of joy' till I started listening to Elbow. There is no band better than them for crafting seemingly uncomplicated but beautiful songs delivered with a massive emotional punch and Guy's delivery of his lyrics is majestic

  • Thank you so much for sharing.Do you have the original video for their whole performance on this show cos the image of this is quite blurry. Thanks in advance.

  • pure music !!!

  • One of my fave songs by them. I truly connect with song..love it!

  • @monnikamiha88 They all are! Sure Guy is amazing, but we got to give some credits to the rest of the band for creating that magical musical atmosphere surrounding the lyrics.

  • Doesn't time pass? Now they are almost the biggest band in Britatin - 2 almost sold out shows at the o2 in London coming up - that's 40,000 people!

Well deserved and they have the cop-on to cope with it all.

  • Think I actually prefer this to the album version

  • Amazing band! Guy is a huge talent :)!

  • Even more beautiful live than on CD, i remember i saw them supporting muse in 2003 and was blown away then, but forgot about them untill recently, this song is so moving, utter musical genious.
