A home edited dvd given to me by my Jiu Jitsu instructor from an unknown source. I did not add any of this music however I must say that being a fellow youtube watcher that hates music edited videos, I found the music in these videos to be pretty decent. Again I did not make these videos or have anything to do with the picks so it isn't my views or opinions of my top picks being expressed. Nonetheless I enjoyed the video very much so I thought I'd share it with you guys. ENJOY!

Part One: Takedowns
Part Two: Slams
Part Three: Using the Foot
Part Four: Using the Knee
Part Five: Exchanging Punches
Part Six: The Guard Game
Part Seven: Beating The Guard

Part Nine: Old School MMA
Part Ten: The Triangle
Part Eleven: Kimura's and Americana's
Part Twelve: Royce Gracie vs Sakuraba highlight

  • The "early", "old-school" MMA actually started in 1993 (with UFC-1), also in Japan they had proto-MMA promotions like Rings, which started in 1992, or Shooto which dates back to 1985! Also in Brazil they had vale tudo tournaments long before modern MMA!

  • @SuperSneakySteve

That's Satoru Sayama aka Tiger Mask, the founder of Shooto.

  • That guy with the stick must have a really small penis if he's beating his students like that.
