@seanypatpatterson yes thank you

@animebsd I think I know the possible solution to this. Your 460 volt air compressor draws 19 amps at 460 volts. Electricity is calculated Amps X Volts = Watts. So 19 Amps at 460 Volts is 8740 Watts. 19 amps at 120 volts is only 2280 Watts. It is fairly common for modern Hoovers to draw 2100, 2200 or more watts.

@Astromchaser cant you agree that if you where to draw 19 amps though one circut it would blow the breaker? i have a 460 volt air compressor that draws 19 amps the cord for it is about a inch thick. how can you be pulling 19 amps through a vacuum cord?

@animebsd It's a Hoover Dimension II. It even says 19 amps.

@Astromchaser i hate to break it to ya but theres no way that motor was 19 amps. it could be 19 hoover cleaning units,. but just an fyi. i have vacs that range from 2 amps to 7 amps. all of wich could woop a 12 amp vac

We recently got us a new Hoover Windtunnel T series Pet Paw filtation. Other then the suction, the thing is made of cheap piece of crap china-made plastic and it only has a small 12 amp motor. Our old Hoover has a big 19 amp motor. Our new windtunnel is so quiet compared to our Hoover from 1999 but then again the motor in the windtunnel is much smaller.

@locohog91 are there any stores where i could get a hoover elite supreme or a eureka esp?
I think the original motor was changed, right?
