  • Я обожаю это произведение. Одно из самых простых и близких мне до глубины души из Рахманинова, мне оно кажется очень русским и очень родным.

  • 2:55 is sublime.

  • @hayasargh Well it's kinda idealistic to think that way and i'm not talking about interpretations. For example, Rachmaninoffs first symphony is an amazing piece of music, but when it was first played Glazunov (conductor) was drunk and did a terible job as well as they orchestra - none of the musicians learned the piece properly thus it was played terribly and brutally panned by critics. This damaged Rachmaninoff so bad that he coudn't write anything for about 3 years.

  • @boxers7x5 upload it please, just so i can go onto it and say "All wrong, I need to upload the Ashkenazy performance." that way i can nullify your assholeish-ness. and what boxers7x5 said is also completely true, there are only various interpretations of pieces, never a correct version. it's purely preference. so basically what i'm saying is fuck off lol

  • @boxers7x5 Your comment is so rude, there is no "right" or "wrong" in music!

  • All wrong, I need to upload the Kletzki performance.

  • Can someone help me? I'm not sure if it's in this symphony (though I am very sure) but where does this theme occur? I can't seem to find it and I don't have time to listen to the entire piece right now :(

    Notes: C, F, Eb, C, Bb, C, F

Direction you should play notes in: Up, down, down, down, up, down (ie. C to F is up, and from F to Eb is down)

Rhythm of each note: quarter note, dotted quarter note, eighth note, eighth note, eighth note, eighth note, half note...

    Thanks!

    (Lovely piece though!)

  • @koshechan я не русский но я согласен. это очень мощное

  • I love this symphony so much!

  • Thank goodness there aren't any dislikes

  • 2:28 is the best mini cello solo in quite possibly the world of symphonies. love it

  • 3:28 is the closest thing to an orgasm music will ever get. but boy is it good.
