on the 3rd November 2007 Janet Woodward (aka my mom!) finally faced her fears and did a skydive which she absolutely LOVED every second of! I was particularly pleased as I were on the plane with mom too and she got to see me jump out prior to her freefall experience (the look on her face says it all hahaha!). The cameraman did a sterling job and even got me under canopy too floating about for a moment lol! anyhow heres the vid - hope you enjoy!
Special thanks go out to Cark Airfield in Grange over Sands for having a wicked plane and to John Howard for doing the tandem skydive with my mom and putting my mom at ease. Up until the start of this year mom wouldn't go on a rollercoaster let alone jump from a plane so its great to see her come so far!! :)

haha cheers matey - yeah gotta say I'm much fonder jumping in my togs as opposed to a jumpsuit but I look a right dork.. not that I care plummeting to earth at 140mph lol!!

its attached to a special helmet for skydivers Chloe. The helmet has an enclosure on the side for the camera :) in addition a photo/stills camera can be mounted on top :)

at 4:41 if you look at the guys face you can see all of his skin flying upward in waves! That looked like soooooo much fun!!!! I wanna go skydiving!

its just an amazing feeling mate. I did my tandem and the second I landed I was on a skydiving course lol! Now got 100+ jumps behind me (which in this sport is nothing) :)

hahaha where is this place? I want to see if i live near it. What's the reguler amount of jumps behind a person?

Its in Cark which is just outside the Southern area of the Lake District in the UK. I see your in the US - loooaaaadds of Dropzones over there :)
Ppl have done all kinds of numbers of jumps - I know some with barely 20 behind them and I know instructors with more than TEN thousand. Ppl are at all kinds of skill levels with skydiving. I really hope its something I'm doing into my old age :)
