No he could not. You can't wipe someone out of existence that can time travel, go to different dimensions and universes. Unless you end the multiverse and higher order cosmic beings would not let Thanos do that.

If thanos uses power ups then logically superman can use power ups however people do not normally depict him with powerups because sub-consciously they know how insanely powerful the character is. Superman has access to some insane power ups just alone in his personal fortress not even going to the JLA Asernal taking from bad guys.

To be honest the fight says Thanos vs superman not thanos with infinity Gauntlet or some other power up. Thanos would lose. Also I hear people say superman strength is capped and people as strength wise stronger than superman, who is stronger than superman which is an infinite character which is ridiculous. Also the Gems are not the most powerful, they are powerful because of cosmic agreement. The Gems do house an High order cosmic being but not the strongest.

@Wenix100 The guy who made the video's opinion was that he was 11th. Doesn't mean that the opinion of 1 person is correct. I looked at the ComicVine page. He was 51st. IG was 9th. Also, show me hwne he defeated the living tribunal and you can't just assume that with a piece of toaa he could defeat ALL marvel at once. Your forgetting The One Above All!
