cnn pipeline rocks for this reason alone. I caught Wolf blitzer talking off-mic (he curses once, and sings some marvin gaye).
Later on that day, I caught another open mic. This time a guy being interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360. You heard him make a call to anderson just before the interview and make some small talk.
So, check out some of those "off air" feeds sometimes, you might just hear something interesting.

As long as the off-air comments don't put people's lives in danger, I have no problem with that. I watched a lot of "back feeds" during Gulf War I and remember being amazed at the dark humor of the journalists.
I certainly wish that I'd been in a position to be able to record those feeds.
