Good word! What he said about ordinary people is something I read about last night from Acts 4:13 that talks about the disciples. It's so cool & a must read. :)

Becca, I agree that that is both in an earthly love and God's love...:)

That's awesome Becca...:) I definitely agree...:)

its all about love..song of songs is a book that shares the reality of our life as a love story. in 1:5 the beloveds heart is awakened and says she is "dark but yet lovely" unworthy of noticing but worthy because HE sees her, HE notices her and says she is lovely. He sees her for who she really is & she is learning to receive love. God sees us for who we are and discovering His love for us is a journey. without love we are nothing. He chooses to use us to love people. i pray for a greater love too

I love your heart, Brandon! :)

Brandon Heath, let me ask you, why can't you consider for a second that maybe humans are capable of being compassionate on their own?
You say only God can make us see, when I think we can find it in ourselves, and I think that's what you're managing to do, whether you think they're your eyes or not.

This song is also the compassion of my heart and I love the style, I pray we all see with His eyes!
You make a good point. i dont think you should have gotten a negative one for voicing your opinion. I think people can be compassionate on thier own, but they arn't. You know what I mean? And if they are, they're nice and compassionate to people they think are worthy. If you want to see the true charatcer of a man, you see how he treats his inferiors, not his equals. i think that knowing the love that Christians have been shown and accepted, just makes us see and humble ourselves.
