  • @gladmenarenotGod Are you sure the James White you got info on wasn't Ellen White's, the founder of 7th Day Adventism, husband? His name was James White and he was well known to be a freemason. And, I'm not sure what "Goggled" is, but I am familiar with "Google." : )

  • You people stop featuring James White as a christian 'cause he is not, a Freemason cannot serve God. I just Goggled " James White, Is His Allegiance Truly to Christ Jesus?" and was shocked. A freemason is an enemy of Christ no matter how religious they may appear. Yes they are Wolves in our midst. God called them thieves said no Mason will enter into his kingdom Psalm 24: 3-5 -Zechariah 5: 2-4

  • Romans 6 is not a reference to water baptism. It is a reference to spiritual baptism. Look at Romans 10...the order is clear...First Christ redeems us...then we have the ability and the desire to believe on Christ. Human Freewill theology, as taught by Arminias and Pelagious, has exalted the freewill of man and attacked the sovereignty of God. I will never acknowledge its legitimacy.

  • @VeryImagesozo Water baptism is very much alive and well in the NT. Paul baptizes many people with water as well. John 3 born of water is the outward sin of knowing inwardly that a person is loaded with Sin. Paul in Romans says that we die with Christ by going under the water and live with Crhist as we come out of the water. Now do I thing that water baptism is a must, no it is just a good idea for a new beleiver. Free will is the point I was getting to, people choose to be baptized.

  • @VeryImagesozo Chist died for all persons on earth. Now as to how many accept him is much less than all. All the ones that accept His death as atonement for sin, Chirst death was effective for those people. The ones who choose not to accept Jesus, the Goats, Chirst wants them but he will not override their ability to choose the life they want to live. True Baptism starts with realizing that a person is dead to God in Sin and needs to be born again by confessing their sins, accepting Jesus.

  • @MRGV7373 One last thing to mention...Christ died specifically for his church (Ephesians 5:25). Look at John 10 where Christ says he came to save his sheep...goats not included. Look at Isaiah 64:7,8, Romans 3 and 9:18-20; Ephesians Chapters 1 and 2, John 1:13; James 1:18; Acts 13:48 (only those ordained believed). Concerning the one true baptism look at Ephesians 4:5; I Corinthians 12:13; I Peter 3:21; Galatians 3:27; Romans 6:3; Matthew 3:11 and Colossians 2.

  • @MRGV7373 Concerning baptism: Water baptism is old covenant (Colossians 3; Hebrews 11:1). Baptism of fire / Holy Spirit is new covenant (Matthew 3:11). Water baptism is the shadow of Holy Spirit baptism, the very image (Hebrews 11:1). It is Holy Spirit baptism that is mentioned in Acts 2:38...just look at the context. Holy Spirit baptism (regardless of what the Pentecostals and Charismatics say) takes placed at the point of salvation, which is all the work of God (Ephesians 2:8-10).

  • @MRGV7373 Both the Church of Christ, and the Roman Catholic Church teach that water baptism is required for salvation. Neither of them have a good Biblical bases for that belief. Since you believe water baptism is connected to redemption, I can only assume you are associated with one of those denominations. Human freewill is not found in the Bible, nor is the idea that regeneration is based upon a work we do, such as water baptism.
