Also TKD use many techniques from Thai boxing so yes that is why there is lots airborne

it's so funny how in every Muay Thai video there is comments about TKD and in every TKD vid there are comments about MT. People are so insecure about there style that they have to put others down. No style is perfect. No style is better than any other style. It is all down to the practitioner.....period.

People saying that some of them are TaeKwonDo kicks, Muay Thai has been around for over 500 more years then the VERY BEGINNING of Taekwondo, before it was called that.

These are not TKD techniques, mabye TKD has similar or same techniques but if you have ever watched a demo of muay boran in the lumpinee stadium you will see these techniques in use.

@LCStreetPhotographer JKD takes what's not needed and disposes of it,theres a lot of thai-boxing influence in JKD !!...duno why u mentioned JKD in your list

guessing you dont practice muay thai because if you did youd know a few things...

a low muay thai kick by a pro can break a maple baseball bat without hurting the kicker,

you wanna step into that?

@myjizzureye Its staged for the purpose of the DVD. However, i train under the tutelage of one of this guy, Master Sken's, Affiliate Instructors and believe me when thrown full SPEED and full POWER a muay thai kick is not telegraphed. Its a million times better than any other art purely because it takes what works and ditches what doesnt..unlike kali/escrima/JKD/TKD etc etc. Techniques in Muay thai are learnt quickly and easily and then its training training training.
