Already pushed to the brink by constant bombing, the people of Germany face the potential of even more destruction from America with the arrival of the B-29 on English soil.
This threat spurs the Luftwaffe to call for the help of Germany's famed aviation designers, a call that is answered with bold and cutting-edge designs. But one concept flies through the clouds and soars above them all, high enough to knock the deadly Superfortress out of the skies and protect the German homeland.
This is the story of the swept wing and the Ta 183 Huckebein, the Emergency Fighter.
The dihedral on the B-29's wings is wrong--they look droopy. And, the Ta-183's air intake is too small.

Seeing the various postings on You Tube concerning German aircraft design, I wonder why the British were so slow to exploit the potential of the jet engine given we had a short headstart with Whittle inventing it. We could possibly have had unbeatable long-range bomber escorts earlier in the war if we had. There are so many "what ifs" that arise from WW2 history, not least why Germany wasn't put down in 1938. At that point the modern, powerful, highly mechanised Czechs may have done it alone.

If the German's had made this (And they could have in 1943 if hitler didn't concetrate so much on tanks) they would have won the war for sure, No doubt.
