the j2me code was not working on my Nokia 2700 classis i added flush() after write() in it started to work

If I did that, the first thing I'd ant to do is slap a camera on that car. It'd be even better if you could somehow rig the camera to broadcast live to your PC (don't know how practical it is if it's possible) xD
As for getting the car to work with your phone, have you looked into retail possibilities?

Have you seen the iPhone controlled car using wifi? They've put a camera and servos in a full sized gasoline car, and control it over wifi with an iPhone! I just got a N85 which has wifi, so hooking up a webcam isn't so far fetched anymore. Optionally one could buy one of those small pinhole cameras and just slap it on. They run for 50 bucks on ebay.
