  • Kurt Rydll cracks me up. He and Lillian Watson have far too much fun with most of their scenes together. I love this production. Our VHS is mostly destroyed, so it's great to find a few bits and pieces online :)

  • It's a weird production, but it's the first opera I ever saw on TV, so there's a place in my heart for it. :-) Glad you love it too! This was taped on a crappy tape on a GOLDSTAR - amazing it's still audible or visible....

  • I think the version with she and Moll is much better.

  • I heard few versions of this aria and some parts of the duet were'nt sung
