amazing, isn't it? actually it was a spontaneous decision to visit the outer hebrides, but i'm glad i did.

@CaledoniaJeanne I think if you research it on the internet, you will find it had something to do with them being turned off of their croft and encouraged to go to Canada. I think many families from the Outer Hebrides emigrated to Prince Edward Island and took their language with them. I've visited the Hebrides two or three times and it's fascinating, well worth going.

My great-grand parents are from the Outer Hebrides. Along the way, the ended up in Prince Edward Island, Canada. I wish I knew why they relocated. From P.E.I. to Boston, MA eventually...
