This is one of their best songs!!! Damn this thing's ferocious! Epic sweep through centuries of lost history, haunted throughout by Sally's vocal incantations and driven by Jon's fierce, lunging vocals. OOOH!!

I feel like shit for missing them in NY. No other colostomy rock band, not the Magentic Fields this year, no one from Portland, is half the Mekons. I still don't care if they can't play. And I am only somewhat sympathetic to their pretensions. And certainly no Muggletonian.
