  • Strangely, Spector would never write anything this musically sophisticated again. All those weird chord changes in the bridge were quite unusual in 1958.

  • We must have some older viewers on her to remember this

  • I love this song!! I know it's weird that I like a song from 1958 because I'm a teenager, but I love old songs! it's a wonderful song. I wish people would rediscover these songs and realize how good they are.

  • Beautiful song, always have loved this!

  • @robroy999999 Yep. I'm one of them. Good job. I had forgotten that Phil Spector was part of the Teddy Bears.

  • even at this age he was already a musical genius and song writer.ok,he went off the rail, like so many people with his talent do.but what a sadder musical world it would have been without him. In my book he should at least be a DR. Sir.or higher, for his contribution to world happiness

  • You're comment is like a breath of fresh air. I was 9 when this song came out,I loved it then, and I love it 50 yrs later. I agree with you that there were a lot of great songs back then. Thank God for Youtube for keeping the music alive!

  • Spector is the guy on the right,

  • According to Carol Conners the bridge was borrowed from a classical piece.
