@nacflynn I agree with you, but you dont have to be so harsh about it. I tell American kids all the time, once they travel abroad they come back changed. So, next time Id suggest you travel to Africa- more specifically East Africa. Karibu Bwana. :)

@XXShaniqueXX Perhaps a little harsh...granted! But I do find, through no fault of the kids themselves, that the current trend to overprotect and mollycoddle them has left little room for them to break out and explore themselves and the wider world. Incidentally...I spent 6 weeks in Tanzania and Zanzibar about 10 years ago and only used Massai guides (Jacob and Ole) to tour the Serengetti and the Rift valley. I visited their bomas and was really impressed by their elegance and intelligence.
