Yeah, I also agree that this is amazing. I only got to see the last Sunday concert; due to other committments, I couldn't make the first three concerts. However, it's a great little festival with superb performers. Everyone who can should come out to this festival next year and support Old Town Music Hall!

Since I'm also playing at Ragfest, I will second this opinion; if you can, go! Just check out the website; among others we have Galen Wilkes, "Perfessor" Bill Edwards, and the Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra!

Actually, this is one of Mr. Frost's earlier ones... from the first folio. The first two folios have pieces that, though tricky, are all quite possible to play. The third folio is the one that is supposed to have some "impossible" tunes in it, though since I don'e yet have any of the folios, I can't personally vouch for this.

WOW! What a performance! He makes it look easy... simply amazing.

Danny McLeith is in my opinion the greatest Robin Frost interpreter, he plays this piece at a pretty good clip as well as Occident Express and a lotta other stuff. He will be playing one hour of the music of Robin Frost at Ragfest.
Frederick did a great job on this piece.

Where is this Ragfest and when? Does Danny have a website or a youtube site? I would love to hear some examples of him playing!

This is in Fullerton, California (The OC).. See ragfest(dot)com ... I think the weekend of October 20-21. I will be a guest performer there as I'm really a beginner at ragtime. Unfortunately I don't think Danny has a website, but I sure as hell wish he did. I'll see if I can borrow a videocamera for his presentation on the music of Robin Frost!

oh, that could be fantastic if you could borrow a camera! I wanna go so bad to this Ragfest now...hum...It's only a month from it to WCRF, when it rains it pours!

I don't think Robin could've played it any better !!

Yeah, considering it's composed with midi origin, I'm surprised that Brian Holland, Adam Swanson, and Frederick Hodges all can play it! I wonder if anybody else has played it?
