  • Both OT Prophecies and NT Prophecies foretelling about crucifixion of Lord Jesus came to pass.

    Psalm 16:10; 30:3 - He will not be spared from death and yet remain uncorrupt. - Acts 2:31; 13:33,35 - Jesus conquered death and remained uncorrupt.

    Hosea 5:14 to 6:3 - He will be killed and raised on the third day. - Matt 17:22-23, John 2:19 " they shall kill Him, and the third day he shall be raised again; Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

  • Listen to the words of Lord Jesus before He was crucified. Prophet never tell lies and the words of a prophet must come to pass lest he is a false prophet.

    Mat 17:22 And while they stayed in Galilee, Jesus said to them,

    "The Son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands of men.

    Mat 17:23 And they will KILL HIM, and the third day He will be raised again." And they grieved exceedingly.

  • God bless you. Thank you for commenting

  • As Lord Jesus he knew when he would be killed.

    Mat 17:22 And while they stayed in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands of men.

    Mat 17:23 And they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised again. And they grieved exceedingly.

    Again for the same verse. Allah/god do not live up there someplace...it's a matafore for spiritual uplifting. Since at that time it was a common belief among the Jews if someone is crucified he/she is destined to hell.

    Allah took jesus to his high stature...He gave him a natural death.

    You are mixing up with "crucifixion" and "crucified". Jesus was put to cross but didn't died he was healed and left Israel for good. Remeber there was other lost tribes of Israel.

  • @positron66

    Surah 3:55

    In this verse Allah is speaking about Jesus That he will die. and spiritually raised up to Allah. (Do you think Allah/god live somewhere above?)

    And indeed the followers of Jesus exalt high over the Jews...till this day.

    and in Sura 19:33 Its Jesus who is saying...not Allah.

    to Jesus at that time how can he say "The day I die" as a present tence but only future. And we all shall raised up to life...not only Jesus. Thats why it's called "Day of Resurrection".

  • @positron66

    That sura and the verses[19:33] was the prayer and narration of Jesus himself. Does a man know when he will die?

    No.

    "The day I was born" is a past tense;

    'The day that I die" is a future tense of speaking;

    "The day that I shall be raised up to life" is also a future tense.

  • @positron66 Excellent work! Thank you.

  • Acts 2:23-24 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

    Acts 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

    Acts 2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover...

  • Apostle Peter delivered the first sermon about the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ and that is how the Church get started till today.

    Act 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

  • Surah 3:55 - Khalifa Translation

    Thus, GOD said, "O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me, and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. ...

    Quran [19:33] (Jesus said) "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

    "The day I was born" is a past tense;

    'The day that I die" is a present tense at the time of speaking;

  • Detailed Analysis of Quran 3:55

    Surah 3:55 - Khalifa Translation

    Thus, GOD said, "O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me, and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is the ultimate destiny of all of you, then I will judge among you regarding your disputes.

  • Not true as that Surah 4:157 is the words of doubters and not from a prophet.

    Act 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

    Act 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

    Act 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

  • How did the Jewish Church get started in the first century?

    The Church get started because there is a Messiah who was resurrected from His death on the third day and the 12 apostles from the house of Israel believed in Him and do what He commanded them to do.

  • Quran [19:33] (Jesus said) "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

    "The day I was born" is a past tense;

    'The day that I die" is a present tense at the time of speaking;

    "The day that I shall be raised up to life" is a future tense.

    As the day I was born is a past tense, the statement does not mean it is the next coming of Jesus. So Surah 19:33 contradicts with Surah 4:157.

  • Muhammad was reminded to ask People of the Book and not to doubt about the revelation of God.

    Quran 10:94 - Pickthal

    And if thou (Muhammad) art in DOUBT concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not THOU of the Waverers.

  • Pickthal Surah 3:55

    (And remember) when Allah said:

    1) O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee

    2) and causing thee to ascend unto Me,

    3) and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve

    4) and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.

    5) Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ.

  • Quran [19:33] (Jesus said) "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

    "The day I was born" is a past tense;

    'The day that I die" is a present tense at the time of speaking;

    "The day that I shall be raised up to life" is a future tense.

    As the day I was born is a past tense, the statement does not mean it is the next coming of Jesus. So Surah 19:33 contradicts with Surah 4:157.

  • Quran [19:33] (Jesus said) "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

    "The day I was born" is a past tense;

    'The day that I die" is a present tense at the time of speaking;

  • 157

    And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]:

  • You are quoting not from quran from your bible only.

    Quran clearly tells that Jesus was not killed or crucified.

    Quran clearly denies and rejects Jesus's(PBUH) death and crucifixion.

  • This is baseless notion. No proof.

    You cannot bring any proof that jeses(PBUH) was crucified.

    100,000$ was challenged already to prove but nobody could prove that Jesus(PBUH) crucified.

    You are showing evidences from your bible and telling that its from Quran.

  • Every Muslim believe in Hereafter and Judgement day.

    Now in Quran it is said. He will born, he will die. and rise up again in Judgement day like any other person.

    19:33-344 & 4:158-159 Death and resurrection in judgement day.

    4:158-159 Allah took him UP unto himself ! Does Allah live UP somewhere?

    or Does it mean "Near to God". Which only come after death.

    There are twisted and picked up verses from Quran...If you let me I will prove the Death of Jesus.

  • I used to wonder why all the Jewish prophets are so easy to defend and Allahs Apostle so hard to defend. Then I started to read about Allahs Apostle. Volume 7, Book 62, Number 17: Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: [When I got married, Allah's Apostle said to me, "What type of lady have you married?" I replied, "I have married a matron (non-virgin)'. He said, "Why, don't you have a liking for the virgins and for fondling (molesting) them?]Now I know why Allahs Apostle is head to defend.

  • Firstly, what was taught there bear slight resemblence to what was taught in my religious class. We both believe in existence of one God. We both belive in the existence of heaven(syurga), hell(neraka), angels(malaikat) and devils(syaitan). We both believe in the existence messengers/prophets(nabi/rasul).

    Different believes but u cnt deny similarity...
