@breaks0 I don't think they were trying to slam Democrats (if that's what you're insinuating). It was just a cool quote. I assure you Jody is a Barack fan (much to my chagrin). Frankly, the whole lot of them are corrupt and picking favorites is akin to trying to pick a fresh apple from a rotten batch.

@vinnie97 I wasn't insinuating anything. I was actually thinking the group I named are much worse, as Nixon (and LBJ) had Vietnam, Reagan had a whole slew of proxy wars in the 80s and Bush had Iraq and Afghanistan. If there's a political theme, it's about domination, and that's what the US does, or tries to anyway. Feel free to disagree, it's still a great mix of a great song.

Not ALL wars are unjustified. Frankly, those that stopped the spread of communism in South America were of benefit to the US (is Chile that bad off after their liberation?). That being said, the democracy-spreading measures since then have been largely unsuccessful, due to warhawks' incapability of imparting their will on peoples who are so steeped in their religion and culture that there's no changing hearts or minds.
