@sparklerbombg They have been cooked on the bagle. Mccormick gourmet has okay viability.

is Papaver somniferum the same seed found on poppy seed bagels? if so, can i grow Papaver somniferum from scraping the seeds off the bagel????

@mrgreenthumb2611 - I agree. No one in the west knows how to cultivate poppies properly. I have over an acre planted and last autumn I harvested several kgs of raw opium which after boiling and straining through cheese cloth yielded over a kg of good, soft boiled opium...I still prefer an intravenous injection of heroin though.

there is nothing better than a little piece of O on some fresh buds this guy has no stress at the end of his day im bettin
you have to put them in its finally pots. Roots are very fragil! And is dificult to make a repot. Good luck!

If you want get seeds until the pod is dry, if you want get flowers cut every pod when the petals fall, If you want get opium then you have to make little cuts in the pods when looks like it is wet.

What kind of soil did you use to put inside those pots , did you use regular potting soil . Ya I noticed the cannabis in the backround very nice , you have a good amount of pods coming out of those flower pots .I didn't even think that , that many pods can grow out of one of those flower pots. I was wondering also if they were tasmanian poppies as well , because the color of the pedals look similiar .

If someone want seeds to see the diferences between tasmanian and this spanish land race (I think) contact me, I have thousand that I can´t grow... and I want the tasmanian strain too ;).
