Every time the sun begins to set in Alaska, Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks it back up into the sky. He's not done playing with it until the end of the summer.
that is trippy. I like how 24 hour day light lifts the limits of the day/night cycle, as in people go home and sleep at night. I also like how people can pick and operate at their own chosen hours. It really doesnt matter, 11:30 PM, 11:30 AM.
@Hanssen69 And as for killing yourself - I read people in the North deliberately expose themselves to UV radiation during winter months. It releases certain substances in the body that help prevent depression.
@Hanssen69 To me, personally, the winter question is pretty obvious: you set the time you need at the alarm clock and go to sleep when about 16 hours after this time have passed. At both moments, it's equally dark., already in the mid-latitudes people experience pretty the same thing in winter. In summer it's probably more difficult to get your day rhythm straight, but it's still possible by letting the shutters down when appropriate (11 pm to midnight for the average adult, I think).
