Ike's and Tina's hit was written by John Fogerty of the CCR. Syesha Mercado performed this in American Idol 2008 with the dance spins and all. Tina and the Ikettes are extremely HOT here.

I saw them on there very first tour, I was 15 or 16 , 1960 or 1961,and went to the black armory, I never figured out the difference, but I was one of about 10 white people, Tina was on fire, and only 300 or 350 people.Since, I have seen many shows up close, but the Ike and Tina Turner Show takes the cake.

When I was a little girl I would sing this song, have a wig on, sing and do the dancing...wow I still remember how I would jiggle all over the damn place. They even filmed this, man I laughed so hard the last time I saw it - I was only 7

@relimes well, it makes ME feel better to think of him that way, coz he was an abuser, what I meant, he was estranged from his former wife and his kids didnt have anything to do with him! perhaps I shud have explained myself better!

i dont know about sad, he was touring a few years up untill he died, even though it wasnt that big, and he re married, so i dont know about alone either.
