  • I was join this session as a programmer 20 years ago. This song was

composed the day before David Sylvian recorded his vocal at the WoolHall

Studio at Bath in England. It is still beautiful song. Ryuichi was prove

himself as a very talented man.

  • Thank you for the upload!!!

I could not hear this melody for a long time.

I'm very happy, thank you so much.

  • I always thought this was beautiful still have the 7 inch thank God, thanks for putting it on You Tube, it should be heard its so beautiful

  • If you look away really quickly or look at this from the corner of your eye... I swear to God, she opens her eyes...

  • Virginia Astley is a female version of Jon Anderson. Her voice is angelic.

  • @louisebakalik I'm not sure it really was such a beautiful time it just happened to be a hell of a lot better than these dreadful times even allowing for Thatcher! Music was largely poor after '82. Hope in a darkened heart wasn't a particularly great album, although the good tracks were really good and I still enjoy listening to them to this day. This was a particular gem though. Good luck with your LSD recovery. God knows we need it!

  • I got a vinyl copy from back in the day......still have it!

  • This is weird. Vaguely hymnological, not unpleasant but weird.

  • Thanks for posting this, I lost my copy! (:

  • This reminds me of school lunches. It's not exactly what I expect from Sylvian.

  • @danbo1984 No, you are wrong, it was a beautiful time mid-80's. I still have this record, bought on a whim as I usually did, not having too much access to info in those days. This album got a lot of play, even with my LSD riddled brain and much different tastes. I'm glad to hear it again. Louise
