@JSpraya maya and 3dmax are totaly differant softwares they have some simmelar feachers but each is used for differant profession, google the diffrence between them and u may come out with maya is more to animation, vfx, materials librarry, with all the other studd not used by everyone for modeling and rigging but u can do all that u can in 3dmax and more,3dmax is more like ranked now for interior design and rigging more than any other feachers oh and vray rendering,

I remember I have taken a whole day in testing and another day for rendering. Of course it's because i was still studying at that time. Now i guess an hour may work :)
