yea, what always amazes me is the quality of the music considering just how many drugs these cats were on when they wrote it...but anymore, well, i mean there is only so much crack/pcp/heroine you can smoke and acid you can drop before the music lacks a bit in the area of execution
well i was refering to back in 1978 the way they used to play it back then......I do agree that it is fresh but it still lacks what it needs but if I was there i would be dancin'!!!!!!!!
@atomicdog93funk, p-funk over the decades has always gone up and down, but this is one of the freshest, sharpest, most energetic versions of Flashlight I've heard them play ever. Cool horn parts and new arrangements too! And the synth bass is definitely there, it just doesn't come through in the bad audio.
pfunk ain't what it used to be. what happened to the bass!!!!I mean really the i think i only like the part is the horn solo thats great!!!Oh well.........
Dang I forgot I had even seen this. I see Foxxe made it back up there. Horns were strongest when it was the original 3 of 'em but Green definitely holds his own out there!
They just dont care how they look or sound this is so pitiful. I hope this was a free concert.
